  • 4 ounces elderflower liqueur
  • ⅓ cup cranberry juice
  • Ginger beer to taste
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2-3 dashes orange bitters
  • 2 blood oranges sliced
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon cardamom pods

Method

First up is the cranberry syrup! Bring ½ cup water along with the honey, cranberries, rosemary, and cardamom pods to a boil over high heat in a medium pot. Remove from heat after 5 minutes or when the cranberries start to rupture. After letting the mixture cool, remove the cardamon and rosemary sprigs. You can also strain out the cranberries if you should choose.

Next, combine the cranberry syrup you just made in a large pitcher with your rosé wine, elderflower liquor, cranberry juice, and orange bitters. Set this mixture aside in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve. (Can last up to 2 days!)

Finally, add your blood orange slices and ginger beer to taste right before serving. Garnish your cocktails with additional rosemary sprigs, blood orange slices, and cranberries if desired.
